2017 Street Fair Vendors

Thanks for your interest in the Upper Madison Street Fair. Please submit your application for participation here. Once approved, you will receive an email with a link to a web page where you can complete the registration process.

Vendor Applicaton
This form is only for Vendors who are NOT primarily selling food for on-site consumption. (Other applications available here.)

We strongly prefer online applications even if you want to pay by check.  Online registration is the fastest and easiest way to register.  You can register online and pay by check.

We accept ONLY vendors that sell original art works,
hand made crafts or local food stuffs.

Re-sellers of manufactured merchandise will NOT be accepted.
 

Fee:
  • There is a $40 non-refundable fee for participation.  You will only be asked to pay that fee if your application is approved.
  • Fee includes Temporary Food Service License
  • Event will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain.
Space Details:
  • Space is 10’ x 10’, and located on the street (asphalt)
  • The fair provides space only. Vendors provide set-ups (tables, signs, etc.)
  • Pop-ups welcome.
  • No generators allowed
Setup:
  • Set-up no earlier than 10 a.m. and be ready by 11:30 a.m.
  • Event runs 12 to 5 p.m.
  • Vendors must be off the street by 5:30 so it can reopen to traffic.

All vendors must have a NYS Tax ID#. If you do not have a NYS Tax ID#, please call the NYS tax office at 518-485-2889 for a form.

Products
What do you plan to sell or give away at the fair? Provide enough information so that we can assess whether you are a good fit for the fair. We only accept vendors that create their own art work, crafts or food stuffs – re-sellers of manufactured merchandise are not accepted.

All food sold at the Fair is subject to Albany County Department of Health regulations; they are numerous! (for a complete list go to http://www.health.ny.gov/regulations/nycrr/title_10/part_14/subpart_14-2.htm#s1)

The most important requirement is that all food must be from approved sources, prepared in facilities under permit by the Albany County Health Dept. or an appropriate regulatory agency. Food may not be prepared at home.

It is up to you to meet these conditions; by selecting "Yes” above you acknowledge your responsibility for adhering to these policies.

Raffle Item
Much of the funding for the Fair and other BUMP activities comes from a raffle held the day of the Fair. We appreciate donations of items valued at $25 or more to be used in the raffle. If you are willing to donate a raffle item please describe it here.
